She was minding her own business.

Doing what she normally did at this hour of the day - fetch water- with her little water pot.

But this time, there was something different.

A stranger was sitting on the well, where she drew water.

Little did she know that his simple request "Give me to drink" would spark a conversation that would change her life, and the lives of the people of that city.

I find the approach Jesus uses, quite interesting! He often disrupts the normal pattern of things to introduce something new and more spectacular. Remember Nicodemus? Now it's this woman.
